🛡️ Project Brief: Rooftop Intrusion Prevention – Salford, Manchester
Client: Commercial Property Landlord
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Challenge: Repeated unauthorised access to rooftop areas
Scope of Works:
Titan Security Fencing Ltd was engaged to design and implement a high-integrity rooftop security solution following reports of intruders gaining access to the building via the roof. After a detailed site assessment, our team proposed the installation of 358-grade prison mesh—a high-security, anti-climb fencing specification—mounted at roof edge height.
Design & Installation Details:
• 🔩 Fixing Method: RHS angled steel brackets securely anchor-fixed into existing brickwork
• 🧱 Mesh Specification: 358 welded mesh, powder-coated for durability and visual integration
• 📐 Bracket Configuration: Angled to maximise deterrence and coverage
• 📏 Height: Installed at roof edge level to prevent climbing access
Health & Safety Compliance:
• ✅ Full RAMS prepared and approved prior to mobilisation
• ✅ Installation conducted under Working at Height regulations
• ✅ Operatives PASMA-certified for mobile platform use
• ✅ Site managed in accordance with Titan’s internal H&S protocols
Outcome:
The installed solution provides a visually discreet yet physically robust barrier against rooftop intrusion. The angled mesh configuration, combined with secure bracket anchoring, ensures compliance with safety standards while delivering long-term protection for the property.
