Purpose: Child safeguarding and public safety enhancement
Titan Security Fencing Ltd was recently commissioned to supply and install pedestrian guard rail barriers at Oasis Academy Oldham, Manchester. This initiative followed a site-specific safety survey which identified the school’s entrance pathway—adjacent to the highway—as a potential risk zone for children, staff, and members of the public.
To mitigate these risks and enhance safeguarding measures, Titan installed approximately 120 linear metres of 1.1-metre-high galvanised pedestrian guard rail along the highway boundary. All works were delivered in full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, CDM 2015 protocols, and school safeguarding procedures, ensuring a secure and controlled environment for all site users.
This installation reflects Titan’s ongoing commitment to protecting vulnerable groups and supporting educational institutions with robust perimeter safety solutions.
