Titan Security Fencing Ltd was proud to support the production of the new Waterloo Road television series, working on behalf of Warner Brothers TV Production and the BBC. The filming took place at a repurposed warehouse complex in Trafford Park, Manchester—transformed into a convincing modern-day high school.
Creative Collaboration for Realism
Our team worked closely with the Production Director and the Design & Construction teams to deliver a realistic playground environment. Using a combination of mesh fencing, railings, and gates, we created multiple secure zones that allowed the crew to film diverse scenes in the same location. The varied fencing styles provided visual flexibility, enabling the set to mimic different school environments simply by changing the foreground.
Deadline-Driven Delivery
The biggest challenge was the tight turnaround. Filming schedules were immovable, and any delay on our part would have impacted the production budget significantly. Thanks to our rapid mobilisation, strategic scheduling, and experienced operatives, we delivered the full installation—complete with materials—on time and within budget.
