Titan Security Fencing Ltd was commissioned by Chambers Capital Group Limited to deliver the full perimeter security installation at the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) site located on Lea Green Road, St Helens.
The project involved the supply and installation of approximately 600 linear metres of 2.4-metre-high galvanised steel palisade fencing, constructed to meet National Grid specifications. The perimeter fencing base was fully encased in a concrete anti-intruder burrow cill, providing robust protection against sub-surface intrusion and enhancing long-term site security.
Specialist isolation sections were integrated into the fencing system to prevent any circuit charge transfer to the steel structure—an essential safety measure for live electrical environments. The installation also included double-leaf and single-leaf access gates, tailored to operational and emergency access requirements.
All works were carried out by our fully trained, certified, and competent operatives, with proven expertise in BESS site protocols, live energy environments, and compliance with CDM regulations, electrical safety standards, and National Grid operational requirements.
