Project Report - Museum of Science & Industry Manchester

One of Manchester most recognised buildings is undergoing a multi-milion pound renovation. The Grade II listed Power Hall part of Manchesters Science and Industry Museum was built in 1855 and is one of the most important industrial heritage sites in europe.

As part of the £6m+ renovation Titan Security Fencing based in Manchester were contracted to design and install aprox 350 meters of Site Hoarding (in support of Kirk Scaffolding of Blackburn) to ensure the safety of site workers and general public. The hoarding, designed to comply with CDM temporary work regulations featured a C24 structural grade timer framework finished with OBM smart ply sheeting using M12 fixing bolt for added structural rigidity.
